The Initiatives in Art and Culture will hold its sixth annual gold conference in New York on April 28 and 29.

IAC’s summit, titled “Gold: Mentors, Milestones and Metamorphosis,” will place heavy emphasis on the discussion of fluctuating gold prices and consumer spending shifts.

Panels will address topics including “One Year Out: The New Method for Setting the Price of Gold — A Progress Report,” and “The Chinese Appetite for Gold and the Potential for Reciprocity Between the United States and the Chinese Markets.” Speakers will include Kimberly McDonald and Kara Ross.

The conference will take place at The Graduate Center, The City University of New York.

Lisa Koenigsberg, founder of IAC, said of the conference: “We have been nothing short of amazed at the enthusiasm that this conference has generated in the gold community. Each year that we produce this event, the presentations become more captivating and informative. This year, we collaborated with top professionals in their fields to showcase the pressing issues for this industry. And we look forward to celebrating achievements in the jewelry and gold worlds with conference attendees this year.”
