Isaac Mizrahi has The Jewish Museum to thank for what will be his first museum exhibition. The multitasking fashion designer’s 30-year-plus career, which includes forays in film, TV and the performing arts as well as fashion, will be highlighted from March 18 through August 7, 2016. “Isaac Mizrahi: An Unruly History” will be staged thematically, with the focus being on the designs of his signature label from 1987 to 1998, his “semi-couture” from 2003 to 2011 and his Target creations from 2002 to 2008.

There will also be traces of his costume designs for the Mark Morris Dance Group, a video installation from Mizrahi’s runway shows, video clips of “Unzipped,” and outtakes from his “Project Runway” cameos.
