DESIGNER DUXES: Top students from fashion schools around Italy will see the cream of their work on show during Milan Fashion Week at women’s ready to wear and accessory trade show Super.

Italian Vogue and trade show producer Pitti Immagine joined forces to organize The Italian Fashion Schools project, to take place inside Super’s location of the Visconti Pavillion on Via Tortona from Sept. 18-23.

The Italian Fashion Schools will exhibit designs from up to 60 top talents from ten fashion Italian schools. Organizers Franca Sozzani, editor-in-chief of Italian Vogue, and Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine said the project aims to raise visibility for the fledging designers and the schools.

“Sustaining a new generation of designers is very important and essential for promoting new talent,” Sozzani said.
