IT’S IN THE BAG: Club Monaco has partnered with blogger Tommy Ton to create a limited edition women’s messenger bag and a men’s backpack that are making their debut this fashion week. Club Monaco will seed the bags to Ton’s favorite street style subjects, who will be shot by the blogger during this season’s fashion weeks in New York and Europe. The retailer will present a gallery show of Ton’s work at a party at its Fifth Avenue store on March 19. The following day, the bags, priced at $198 and $225, will go on sale to the public at select Club Monaco stores globally. “This is an especially exciting partnership as Tommy will not only be creating the imagery around this product, but is the first photographer we have ever worked with to create product,” said Ann Watson, vice president of marketing and communications at Club Monaco, a division of Ralph Lauren Corp.
