SHADY BUSINESS: Jennifer Meyer is embracing her California roots. The jewelry designer has created a capsule collection for Net-a-porter, inspired by palm trees in her local surroundings.

Rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets are made of 18-karat gold, some with turquoise and diamond accents. The seven-piece collection is priced from $350 for plain gold pieces to $4,000 for diamond and turquoise-studded designs. All pieces will be available for purchase on on Monday.

“I have worked with Net-a-porter for the past six years, and honestly, each year has been better and better.  [The firm’s] global presence is unparalleled and I can see that directly reflected in our sales. They know and understand their customers through and though and go above and beyond to connect and cater to their styles. The way in which they strategically curate the jewelry selection contributes greatly to the success of our company,” Meyer told WWD.

Net-a-porter fine jewelry buyer Sophie Quy said of the tie-up: “We’ve grown such an incredible business with Jennifer Meyer and wanted to create something really fun and special for our customers this summer. Jennifer epitomizes that laid-back, L.A. summer vibe…each piece is fun and playful as you would expect, yet still encompasses the elevated feel of fine jewelry with the added diamonds, turquoise and yellow gold.”
