DUNN DEAL: Model Jourdan Dunn is partnering with British licensing agency Fluid World to develop a clothing collection for children and young adults.

Dunn’s London agency Storm Model Management negotiated the model’s deal with Fluid World and announced the partnership Wednesday.

The collection will be made up of pieces such as jeans, jackets, T-shirts, sweaters and fashion accessories, which Dunn will design, and will be priced to appeal to a broad audience, Storm said. Fluid World noted that it is also seeking an international retail partner to “support the development, production and marketing” for the project.

Andrew Lane, chief executive officer of Fluid World, commented: “Jourdan Dunn is a fashion icon who sets trends and influences styles,” noting that the project will bring “her cool urban style to a wider audience.”

Fluid World, which Lane founded in 2008, is the licensing agent for brands such as Sanrio’s Hello Kitty in the U.K. and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic.

Dunn — who has a five-year-old son, Riley, and had hinted to WWD she had a deal brewing — said that she’s been “obsessed” with children’s clothes since her son was born.

“Through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son Riley,” she said. “I am looking forward to developing my own collection and turning my ideas into reality.”
