JUMPING THE GAP: Carolyne Rapp has quietly exited Gap as director of global fashion and creative concepts. That roster includes Maria Chen, who joined the company in December as vice president of global design. One insider insisted that Chen’s and Rapp’s jobs did not intersect in any way.
The Danish-born Bay was applauded for her success creating COS for H&M, before joining Gap two years ago. But her Gap experience has been less seamless, given the retailer’s ups and downs.
