Kanye West wants to create another spectacle.
The rapper will premiere his new album, “Waves,” formerly called “Swish,” in its entirety and present his Yeezy Season 3 collection at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 11, the first official day of New York Fashion Week.
West is opening the event up to the public — tickets go on sale starting Saturday — and screening the performance at select theaters around the world on the same day and same time starting at 4 p.m. EST.
Although West has given more notice this season, his event could still disrupt the fashion week schedule due to its 90-minute run time, which is happening the same time as the Marissa Webb and Adam Selman shows.
West joins a growing list of designers who are opening up their fashion week events to the consumer.
