GROWING REACH: KCD’s Digital Fashion Shows is expanding into the accessories space on March 18 with the launch of Digital Accessory Showcase presented by Swarovski. The platform, which launched at in January 2012, is a tool that provides detailed collection material for partnering brands like pretaped runway shows (when applicable), close-up and high-resolution images, a run of show, a video designer preview and show credits. Designed in collaboration with King & Partners, the accessories portion of the site will now include embeddable and downloadable collection images and designer inspiration videos for the fall Atelier Swarovski collections and a select group of designers chosen by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and the British Fashion Council.

“Swarovski has a proud heritage of embracing innovation and technology, not just in design but across our communication channels too,” said Nadja Swarovski, member of the executive board, Swarovski Crystal Business, adding that the goal is for the showcase to bring its accessories brands to a global audience.

Atelier Swarovski pieces from Fredrikson Stallard, Christopher Kane, Arik Levy and Zaldy will sit alongside CFDA and BFA members such as Alejandro Ingelmo; Irene Neuwirth Jewelry; Jill Platner; Kotur; Linda Farrow; Maria Francesca Pepe; Piers Atkinson; Selima Optique; Sophia Webster and Sophie Hulme.
