KICK IT: Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are bringing their taste for collaborations to Kenzo. The label’s creative directors regularly launch co-branded lines for their Opening Ceremony stores, and now they have unveiled the first of several planned partnerships at the French fashion house.


First up is a Vans sneaker featuring seven variations of the colorful net print the duo used in their spring-summer collection. “Vans is one of the iconic American brands and we liked the idea of infusing this bit of American style into the house of Kenzo,” the duo stated.


The men’s and women’s styles will retail from 90 euros, or $118 at current exchange. They will be available at Kenzo boutiques and retailers including Opening Ceremony, Colette, Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford and I.T from mid-May. Further collaborations are set to be unveiled for June and July.
