Kevan Hall returned to one of his favorite destinations, Italy, for inspiration for his spring 2016 collection, which he called “Moda Capri.”
“I imagined Jackie O and Lee Radziwill looking ravishing while strolling the ancient streets of this tiny village,” said Hall, who used a palette of coral, turquoise, yellow and lime green to fashion crochet tunics, chiffon caftans and jersey dresses. He paired these with the ease of optic white blouses or slim pants for day. For evening, Hall created a butterfly print from the same color story as well as silk gazar skirts and metallic lace gowns. His black sequin swirl capelet jumpsuit embodied the glamorous Sixties vibe to a T. Hall elected to show in his Los Angeles atelier, where the vibe was more friends and family than media circus. Locals Cameron Silver, Christos Garkinos, Tina Knowles, Estelle, Joley Fisher and Connie Stevens were among the guests.
