KIMBERLY STEWART COLLABORATES WITH ROCKINS ON SCARVES: Model, actress and rock ’n’ roll offspring Kimberly Stewart is adding designer to her résumé with the launch of a collection of scarves for U.K.-based line Rockins.
The five skinny scarves launch online today to coincide with Stewart’s new E! Entertainment reality show “Stewarts and Hamiltons.” Stewart and Rockins cofounder Jess Morris met at a London party a few years ago and bonded over their love of Seventies style. “Kim has rock ’n’ roll in her DNA which truly informs her personality and lust for life. She knew exactly what she wanted from the collection and then let us add flourishes and details such as the exclusive handbill artworks included in each purchase,” said Rockins cofounder Jess Morris of Rod Stewart’s oldest daughter.
Said Stewart, “Rockins has always been a brand I’ve admired. It embodies everything I stand for and have grown up with — Seventies-inspired rock culture and the era of icons such as my dad Rod Stewart, the Stones, Zeppelin. Each design of this collection is inspired by either my family or something I am passionate about, which makes this collaboration a very personal experience for me.”
The collection ranges in price from $140 to $250 and includes a sailor-inspired, silk twill bias-cut scarf, a leopard print silk crepe de chine, an American flag, a Blue Bonnet motif inspired by Stewart’s mother Alana and an all-black style that Stewart convinced the company to include.
