LUXE HOME: Italian luxury intimates brand La Perla has signed a three-year, renewable licensing deal with home textiles company Fazzini, and the first products resulting from the partnership will debut at the Maison & Objet trade show in Paris next January.
La Perla will unveil a range of bed linens, blankets and towels – in fine cotton, linen, silk and silk satin – with motifs including the “flying oyster” print from designer Emiliano Rinaldi’s spring-summer 2015 men’s lineup, as well as jacquards and checks.
The new home line will be sold starting May or June, at select retailers that carry Fazzini and “are coherent with the luxury” of La Perla, a spokeswoman for the brand said.
Fazzini is a family-owned operation founded in 1976 outside Milan, and its textiles are entirely manufactured in Italy.
