LAUREN FAMILY VALUES: A contingent of Laurens — including Ralph, Ricky, David and Jerry — attended the Hetrick-Martin Institute’s Emery Awards gala on Thursday. Ralph Lauren presented an award to Charles Fagan, executive vice president and Lauren’s chief of staff at Ralph Lauren Corp. “This is not a company, it’s a family,” said the beaming designer after receiving a standing ovation from the crowd at Cipriani Wall Street. “Charles Fagan is a gentleman who’s been with this company for 25 years. He’s grown up with me. So much so that I would say he’s the third son. I see him every morning and I see him every night and I’m always excited to see him.”
Fagan responded by noting, “It’s not every day that you get accolades from your hero.”
