“Glee” star Lea Michele was the guest of honor at a Glamour magazine dinner at the La Société restaurant in Paris Saturday night, joined by a throng of designers including Peter Dundas, Zac Posen, Peter Copping, Lars Nilsson and Pierre Hardy. Copping, who doesn’t own a TV, confessed he hasn’t yet seen the show — unlike Posen, who said he’s a musical nut. “I love to sing,” trilled the designer, who noted that in high school his most memorable performance was singing in Henry Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas.” “My favorite though is Stephen Sondheim — I just love his compositions,” he added. Michele, who wore a pale pink metallic dress by Victoria Beckham, said she planned to do some sightseeing and attend the Stella McCartney show. “I want to go to the catacombs and just walk around Paris pretending that I live here,” she gushed, adding the Glee cast may soon be coming to Europe for a residency in one of the major capitals. So who’s her favorite French singer? “Edith Piaf, but I don’t speak French,” she sighed. Meanwhile Hardy confirmed he’s to open his first U.S. store in December, in New York’s West Village. “I’ve spent the past six months working with architects on the design,” he said.
