STAIRWAY TO BURTON: It’s been almost 40 years since Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and the rest of the gang first got Led Zeppelin together in London, but apparently Jake Burton remains a fan. His snowboard company has unveiled Burton x Led Zeppelin. An Easy Livin snowboard and two Roadie Tech T-shirts are among the high-performance goods inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll band. The products will be in stores in November and will retail from $70 to $550.
Burton-sponsored snowboarder Danny Davis said he was hooked on Led Zeppelin after buying “How the West was Won” at the age of 14. “The graphics on my board are some of the most timeless art from Zeppelin albums. Zeppelin is pure rock ‘n’ roll and I am honored to be collaborating with them,” Davis said.
