LIFE’S A DRAG: While Nicholas Formichetti is busy reviving the Thierry Mugler fashion line, the brand’s namesake founder has a new project in the works: serving as artistic director for drag chanteuse Joey Arias’ upcoming one-night-only show at Town Hall on April 21 in New York. “We talk four times a week and he sends sketches. He always says, ‘No suits. Just catsuits. Very tight,’” said Arias of Mugler, who goes by the name “Manfred” these days. Arias and Mugler previously collaborated on the Cirque de Soleil show “Zumanity” in Las Vegas, where Arias served as the emcee. The duo is also creating an upcoming nightclub act in Paris, said Josh Wood, who is producing the Town Hall event.
