LONDON’S PIONEERS: London’s Centre for Fashion Enterprise, a fashion business incubator, on Tuesday named the six designers who are the latest recipients of its New Pioneer initiative. Those joining the six-month program are Adrien Sauvage, Faustine Steinmetz, Liam Hodges, Louise Alsop, Mariana Jungmann and Studio XO, a fashion tech firm. The program is open to designers who have at least five stockists; make more than 10,000 pounds, or around $16,000 in annual revenue. and have been operational for at least a year. The program offers the designers mentoring sessions and workshops on issues such as business planning, range planning, legal issues, branding and digital strategy. The CFE, which is supported by the London College of Fashion and the European Regional Development Fund, has in the past supported labels such as Erdem, Mary Katrantzou, Thomas Tait and Craig Green.
