COME TOGETHER: Louis Vuitton on Tuesday inaugurated a new facility near Geneva that brings together all its watch-making activities under one roof.

La Fabrique du Temps in Meyrin hosts Vuitton’s product-development center, previously located in La Chaux-de-Fonds; a high-end movements unit also known as La Fabrique du Temps, and watch dial manufacturer Léman Cadran. The luxury brand entered the watch segment in 2002 with the launch of its Tambour timepiece.

The facility was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Hamdi Chatti, vice president of fine jewelry and watches at Louis Vuitton; Monique Boget, mayor of Meyrin, and Pierre Maudet, vice president of the Council State of Geneva in charge of security, police and the economy.
