PASTA POWER: To coincide with the opening of the Expo universal exhibition in Milan in May, which is dedicated to food and nutrition, L’Uomo Vogue is celebrating Italian cuisine and its creators. Italy’s 16 most important chefs will appear on the gatefold cover of the magazine’s April issue, which hits newsstands Saturday.

Photographed by Ellen von Unwerth, the black and white picture features Gualtiero Marchesi, Andrea Berton, Carlo Cracco, Enrico Crippa, Paolo Lopriore, Davide Oldani, Massimo Bottura, Antonio Cannavacciuolo, Pino Cuttaia, Aimo Moroni, Fulvio Pierangelini, Niko Romito, Giovanni Santini, Davide Scabin, Marco Stabile and Mauro Uliassi.

The magazine will also include an interview with Marchesi, who can be considered the father of contemporary Italian cuisine, as well as articles and photo shoots highlighting Italy’s most suggestive locations and most interesting stories.
