LVMH’S SANDY RELIEF: LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s contributions to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts are twofold — touching both those employees within its brand portfolio impacted by Sandy and facing hardships as a result, as well as the region’s greater efforts.

Shortly after the storm, LVMH started working closely with each of its brands to identify staff members in need of help, and it has been providing support through the brands, as well as additional funding from LVMH Group where necessary.

The various brands have also individually made direct contributions to relief efforts, and, now, LVMH Group pledged to add to these funds to bring the total contribution by the brands and LVMH Group to $1 million. LVMH Group’s specific funds will be distributed to the American Red Cross and the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.
