ON THE WEB: This is shaping up to be a good month for fans of Italian fashion: M Missoni is unveiling a revamped Web site with the introduction of e-commerce, and Emilio Pucci is celebrating five years of online sales by sending customers a complementary mystery gift with Internet orders.

The M Missoni site opens Nov. 11 and functions across mobile phones, tablets, laptop and desktop computers, allowing shoppers to share their purchases or favorite looks on social media platforms and to personalize their packaging. A new “Be Inspired” section offers snapshots of M Missoni looks culled from blogs, magazine editorials and street photography, offering customers a de-facto style guide. The section “Today Love” offers further style tips from the brand.

Initially, online sales will be limited to Italy, but by spring 2014 customers across the European Union will be able to make purchases through the site.

The Emilio Pucci surprise gift, which the company said is a thank-you to its fans, will be presented in a fabric pouch and jewelry box and sent with any orders placed on the brand’s Web site from Nov. 24, for as long as quantities last.
