MAKING SPACE: Space Age designer André Courrèges and his wife and creative partner, Coqueline, have sold the company to two investors, Frédéric Torloting and Jacques Bungert, the company confirmed. Torloting and Bungert run the French division of advertising agency Young & Rubicam, but are believed to have made the investment independently. Coqueline Courrèges has been running the firm since her husband retired from fashion in the Nineties. Founded in 1961, Courrèges is synonymous with go-go boots, short dresses and a futuristic logo.

KILL FEE: Wherever there’s The Kills, Kate Moss is sure to follow. The top model is expected to join a pack of VIPs at Etam’s lingerie and swimwear show tonight, at the Grand Palais in Paris, with Eva Herzigova, Freida Pinto, Lily Allen, Emmanuelle Seigner, Lenny Kravitz and Alexa Chung also expected to attend. Along with The Kills, Beth Ditto and Boy George are down to perform at the event.

GOOD TIMES: Michael Kors is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his brand with quite a bit of gusto. To mark the occasion, Charles Rivkin, the U.S. ambassador to France, and his wife, Susan Tolson, are opening the doors to the legendary U.S. ambassador’s residence during fashion week in Paris to celebrate Kors with a seated dinner on March 7. That’s not the only reason to honor the designer in Paris that week. Kors is also opening a 7,000-square-foot flagship — his biggest in the world — on the Rue Saint Honoré and, earlier that day, will stage a press conference at the store.
