SHOP TALK: The first Marc Le Bihan boutique, on Paris’ Right Bank, features the designer’s own signature label, plus jewelry by Jean-François Mimilla. Fashion styles for men include modern cuts with frayed seams, turn-of-the-century buttons and shirts with bib panels. The smaller selection of women’s wear comprises both day and evening options, such as a linen vest and a silk dress. The pieces primarily come in black, white and shades of gray, although hints of maroon and orange are interspersed throughout. Mimilla’s jewelry combines fine silver chain intertwined with beads. The 670-square-foot store, opened in June at 25 Rue Henri Monnier in the 9th arrondissement, blends natural and industrial decor; a welcome mat made of loose white pebbles greets visitors, while display cases are constructed of polished steel.
