MELO’S NEW ARENA: With a newly secured Knicks contract worth $122 million, Carmelo Anthony has other things on his mind — like tech investment.

The NBA star has linked with Stuart Goldfarb, the former president and chief executive officer of Bertelsmann Direct North America (now known as Direct Brands Inc.) and longtime NBC executive, to launch M7 Tech Partners, a new investment firm. The company has made an inaugural investment in the children’s media company Hullabalu and will continue to seek out early stage digital media and consumer Internet firms, tech start-ups and wearable technology devices.
