MILAN-GELES: Italian stylist Ada Kokosar teamed with Los Angeles-based Hollywood Trading Company to design a fall collection presented on Saturday at Milan Fashion Week.
“HTC’s incredible expertise in the leather good business — they still paint and decorate leather with studs by hand, for example – was the starting point to design five key looks, which are different interpretations of the rock ‘n’ roll look,” said Kokosar.
The bold, cool lineup included a suede coat trimmed with rabbit fur and embellished with vinyl inserts. Vinyl was also used for skintight pants. A sheepskin jacket was embellished with eye-catching belt buckles, while flared denim pants that zipped at the bottom came hand-painted with Western, folk motifs.
Accessories spanned from bags with large buckles and pouches with built-in belts to suede thigh boots.
