MINKOFF’S NEW BABY: Rebecca Minkoff and Baby-G have collaborated on a watch meant to exude a “downtown romantic aesthetic.” This translates to a timepiece combining a black ion-plated stainless steel bracelet and a pink champagne dial. The device is water resistant up to 100 meters and includes an LED light, 48-city world time, five daily alarms, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer and 12/24-hour formats. “My collaboration watch was designed as the watch for the everyday woman that wants both function and fashion,” Minkoff said. “Every woman has a go-to accessory; I designed this Baby-G with this in mind.”

The designer will fete her collaboration Wednesday at New York lounge The Back Room, where the Casio-owned brand will show its advertising spot, “The Morning After,” inspired by the designer’s signature handbag.

Retailing for $200, Minkoff’s Baby-G will be available this month at fine jewelers and at select department stores and boutiques.
