CHILD’S PLAY: Natalia Vodianova plans to make her mark during London Fashion Week with a fun fair at the Roundhouse in Camden in aid of her Naked Heart Foundation.
The World’s First Fabulous Fund Fair will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 24, and aims to raise 1 million pounds, or $1.51 million at current exchange. It will be co-hosed by Vodianova and Karlie Kloss.
“This fun fair will have all the elements that excited and thrilled us when we were children, like ice cream, junk food and attractions, but it will also involve all the brands and personalities that we love as adults,” said Vodianova.
She’s not kidding. Among the attractions will be the Guerlain Super Model Kissing booth, hosted by Vodianova and Toni Garrn, Christian Louboutin’s high-heeled Olympics and face painting courtesy of Pat McGrath. The event will also offer refreshments from Stella McCartney’s Veggie Hot Dogs Stand and Karlie’s Kookies served by Kloss, who co-founded the eponymous vegan, gluten-free cookie line. Dynamo will perform a magic show.
Some 500 guests are expected to attend, and there are a limited number of tickets costing 1,000 pounds or $1,500, according to the organizers. The charity works with children with special needs and their families, creating inclusive play areas in Russia and around the world. The foundation has built 136 play parks, including three in the U.K.
