POPPING UP: Nesh NYC, the New York-based ath-leisure brand founded in 2011 by Bree Chambers, has opened a pop-up shop at 15 Gansevoort Street, marking the label’s first retail outpost.
Sewing machines are displayed inside the shop, emphasizing the brand’s American-made sensibility. “We wanted a place to show our customers how we envision the brand as a true lifestyle,” Chambers said. “We call the process that happens in our new pop-up ‘from sketch to hanger’: Our patterns are made in-house and samples are cut and sewn, all for the public to see.”
In addition to Nesh NYC’s own line of active and loungewear, the shop will offer holiday gift items, such as travel blankets and jewelry, from an assortment of brands, as well as Nesh NYC’s first capsule collection for men.
The Nesh NYC collection is currently stocked at boutiques including Ron Robinson, Carbon 38, Holt Renfrew, Bandier, Calypso St. Barth and its own e-commerce site, neshnyc.com. The Meatpacking District pop-up shop will remain in business until Dec. 31.
