NEW DIGS: Mandarina Duck, which was acquired by Korean E-Land Group last July, has opened a flagship in Milan. The two-story, 1,939-square-feet boutique, which will adopt Mandarina Duck’s new store concept featuring silver walls, resin floors and glass details, will carry both the Handbags and Travel and Business collections.

“By opening a boutique in Milan, the company is reaching an important goal,” said Christopher Bizzio, chief executive officer. “Following the acquisition by E-Land, the new flagship store is the first step of the brand’s relaunch project, which starts from Italy, our main market. Besides opening new doors, the plan is to renovate our retail chain through the new store concept and revamp our e-store.” Mandarina Duck currently operates 45 boutiques worldwide.
