EN POINTE: The likelihood of spending a night at the ballet is next to nil for most showgoers, but they can still get a glimpse of New York City Ballet dancers en route to Lincoln Center. As of Sunday, anyone can wander through the David H. Koch Theater to check out the photographer JR’s installation “The Eye of New York City Ballet.” The companty’s principal ballerina Sara Mearns and 80-plus other dancers are featured in the 6,500-square-foot photograph that covers the floor and looks like the shape of an eye from above. And should anyone decide they just can’t face another fashion show, the NYCB will celebrate the Paris-based artist’s latest work with special performances Feb. 7 or 13.
