A passenger shot at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport

AIRPORT STYLE: Coinciding with Paris Fashion Week, Aéroports de Paris has teamed with Paris City Hall on a photography exhibition celebrating the passengers’ style.

The exhibit features large-scale photographs of 27 passengers lensed by Jonathan Paciullo, behind LeFrenchyStyle Instagram account dedicated to street style. They can be viewed in Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport’s nine terminals through March 19 as well as on the walls of City Hall giving on Rue de Rivoli. In addition, a film titled “Fashion Loves Paris” highlighting Paris’ expertise in fashion and handicrafts is also shown on screens in the baggage reclaim area.

“Paris airports are the first point of contact between visitors and the city, especially during Fashion Week….The biggest names in fashion are represented in the airports, which today constitute one of Paris’ largest department stores,” said the airport operator in a joint press release with City Hall.

The City of Light launched a campaign during last ready-to-wear’s collections in September. Posters with the slogan “La Mode Aime Paris” (or “Fashion Loves Paris”) were displayed throughout the French capital.
