Paul Andrew Pops Up: Paul Andrew, the footwear and accessories designer who won the top prize at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund earlier this month, is set to open a pop-up shop in London early next year.
The space, which is planned to open in late January, will be within the Donna Karan boutique on London’s Conduit Street. And it’s no surprise that Karan is hosting Andrew’s first retail foray, as the designer had spent ten years as vice president of Collection accessories design at Donna Karan, before leaving to set up his own line, which launched for spring 2013. The London temporary space will carry Andrew’s colorful spring and pre-spring 2015 collections, which number designs such as court shoes in neon pink matte python and pumps in rainbow stripes of layered suede. Andrew’s designs are currently carried by stores including Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys in New York; Harrods and Harvey Nichols in London and Colette in Paris.
