PAUL ANDREW’S VID: Paul Andrew is debuting its spring collection with a video installation shot by Steven Sebring during its presentation on Monday.

The line will include a gladiator sandal dubbed the “Athena” that is laser-cut from a single piece of calfskin into a knee-high stenciled boot on a stiletto heel. The brand is also launching a studded saffiano calf skin sandal called the “Hercules,” as well as an espadrille wedge called the “Patmos.” Slingbacks and pumps are part of the collection, too, which includes materials such as suede, karung snake and a python brocade. Prices open at $395 but the average price point is $695.
When asked why he tapped Sebring for a video of his collection, Andrew told WWD:
“Steven Sebring is a true, modern artist — and an innovator. He has introduced the fourth dimension to his medium, and in so doing is changing the way we see.”
Andrew’s presentation will take place on 41 West 58th street from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
