PEOPLE POWER: French mail-order retailer La Redoute is inviting its nearly 2 million online fans to participate in a casting for new brand ambassadors. Through Feb. 11, people can enroll in the contest via the company’s five Facebook pages — La Redoute, Plus Size Plus Mode, C’est Maman qui decide, Tous les Bons Plans de La Redoute and AM.PM — to possibly become a spokesperson for one of four categories. These include: “serial modeuse” (or serial fashionaista, in English); super parents; generous beauty, and “fou de déco” (or crazy for decoration). Fans will also vote on the ambassadors, who will then be given La Redoute-related projects.
