CHILD’S PLAY: Pippa & Julie is launching its first ecommerce and direct-to-costumer effort. On Monday, the New York-based childrenswear brand, which operates as part of the Pastourelle Inc. design group, will debut pippaandjulie.com. Founded in 1987 by president and ceo Fran Arazi, the girlswear line relaunched in 2007 with Arazi’s daughter Julia Arazi joining as creative director and chief merchant. The brand currently retails in department stores such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s and online through Zappos and Amazon.
