BRAZILIAN FETE: Ralph Lauren celebrated the opening of its first Brazilian store in São Paolo earlier this week with a cocktail party hosted by José Auriemo, chairman and chief executive officer of JHSF, which owns Cidade Jardim Mall, and David Lauren, executive vice president of advertising, marketing and communication at Ralph Lauren. Guests were greeted by 26 male models and waiters, with trays of Champagne, flanking the sides of the sisal carpet and complemented by four large urns with palms and multiple colors of cymbidium flowers and ginger. A jazz trio played inside and a saxophone/cello player entertained guests outside.
