Redress, a Hong Kong-based fashion sustainability NGO, said Monday it has hired an executive from Reuters as its executive director.
Jill Grinda will report to Christina Dean, the founder of Redress, as well as the organization’s newly expanded board. Grinda is taking on a newly created role, a spokeswoman said.
Grinda will oversee project development for Redress and its TV documentary series, as well as The EcoChic Design Award competition.
Most recently, Grinda led Asian business development and content sales at Reuters News. She has also worked for the Australian Wool Corporation, organizing an Australian student fashion design competition, Redress said.
