A look from Ricostru.

MILAN — Giorgio Armani selected Chinese fashion label Ricostru to show at his Armani Theater during the upcoming Milan Fashion Week.

The women’s wear label, founded in 2011 by Rico Manchit Au and known for spare and streamlined looks, will make its Milanese catwalk debut on Sept. 26.

“I think its very stimulating to find new talents on the international scene: it’s a moment of exchange and growth,” Armani said. “What I like of Ricostru is the great focus and the design precision.”

“It’s an incredible honor for me to show my collection at the venue of Giorgio Armani, the designer who better represents the Italian elegance,” Au said. “I really thank Giorgio Armani for this incredible opportunity and for his support, a great, important help for an emerging brand like Ricostru.”

Ricostru is the 14th emerging brand selected to show at Armani’s location, which hosted the runway shows of a range of designers, including Lucio Vanotti, Daizy Shely, Andrea Pompilio, Stella Jean, Julian Zigerli, Au Jour Le Jour’s Diego Marquez and Mirko Fontana, Angelos Bratis, Christian Pellizzari, Vivetta Ponti, Facetasm and Ujoh.
