REALLY ROSIE: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the British model best known for her role in the Marks & Spencer Autograph lingerie ads, will later this week launch her first fragrance for Autograph, one of the M&S in-house brands.
Rosie for Autograph is a “modern floral-oriental” eau de parfum created by the model as “the embodiment of her love of the British countryside on an early summer morning,” according to M&S. The fragrance has been produced in Grasse, France using hand-harvested natural rose centifolia essence.
“I was drawn to the elegance and simplicity of the centifolia rose used in the fragrance,” said the model. “A rare, vintage style flower, it really encapsulates what this fragrance is about — a fresh yet mysterious scent that feels luxurious and sexy.”
Top notes include pepper, lemon and green leaves; heart notes are red rose centifolia, magnolia, and jasmine, while sandalwood, vanilla and musk form the base notes. The retailer said Huntington-Whiteley worked with the perfumer Ralf Schwieger.
Photographer Guy Aroch shot the campaign at Hotel Endsleigh in Devon, England — the model’s home county. Huntington-Whiteley is wearing a Rosie for Autograph limited edition rose gold chemise from her spring/summer 2015 lingerie collection in the images. The fragrance launches in Britain and on the brand’s website on Thursday.
