ROUND TWO: Leonard Lauder is raiding the family safe once again, but for a good cause: He’s selling off 44 more pieces of his mother Estée’s and late wife Evelyn’s jewelry to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation. The pieces will be sold at Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels auction, taking place Dec. 9. It’s the second round of jewelry the beauty titan has sold to raise money for charity. The Lauder pieces include jewelry from Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier, David Webb, Buccellati and Oscar Heyman & Brothers. Among the most notable pieces: a Cartier Tutti Frutti bracelet, circa 1928, estimated to be worth between $750,000 and $1 million.
