SHOPSTYLE’S VOYAGE: is joining the designer collaboration craze. The fashion search engine is teaming up with Marchesa Voyage for its initial foray into partnership territory. The capsule collection will launch on Sept. 9. The site said it’s the first of more designer hook-ups to come. “We’ve done a few different collaborations for hair products and nail enamel and beauty tools, but not so much clothing,” said Keren Craig, half the Marchesa Voyage design team. “This is the first time we’ve done a capsule collection.”

Melissa Davis, executive vice president of ShopStyle, said, “Marchesa is one of the brands we work with very closely. We wanted to do something with them because they’re a brand we admire and respect. When they launched Marchesa Voyage, it was the every-day ShopStyle girl.” ShopStyle is owned by PopSugar, a global women’s lifestyle brand focused on media, commerce and technology.

The six-piece capsule includes a dress, pants, jacket, two blouses and scarf. The price range, from $140 for the scarf to $595 for the jacket, is in keeping with Voyage’s price points. “We took some ideas and concepts we felt strongly about and changed them up,” said Marchesa Voyage’s Georgina Chapman. “The jacket is all embroidered. You’re getting a lot for your money.”

“We’re in talks with another partner for a holiday launch of more giftable items,” Davis said. “We’re looking to do at least one collaboration per quarter. It could expand beyond that. We could do different items from a number of different designers.”

The Voyage capsule, which will be accessed directly through at ShopStyle/Collections and through the site’s search results, is being manufactured by Marchesa and will be shipped by ShopStyle in Marchesa boxes.
