NO PLACE LIKE HOME: Solange Azagury-Partridge sought a home-away-from-home for her first Paris point of sale, and she found it in a former storage space at the entrance of Hôtel Costes.
“I used to spend all my free time here,” the jewelry designer said.
She described the petite space, inaugurated Sunday evening, as “a hybrid” between her own sensibilities and those of Jacques Garcia, behind the décor of the Paris fashion hotspot.
Its walls are dominated by dusty-pink velvet-lined black wooden display cases inspired by a bookcase in the London-based designer’s office. It also features a rug and chandelier she created, as well as Azagury-Partridge’s signature star-shaped presentation case.
The only other furniture is a studded wooden desk and chairs.
