STEALING BEAUTY: Olivia Palermo caused such a stir with her appearance at designer Elisabetta Franchi’s presentation at Milan Fashion Week, she ended up overshadowing the clothes. On a dark set resembling a forest in winter, models paraded in Cinderella-inspired white outfits. Afterward, guests squeezed through a narrow corridor to a back room where Palermo stood in a sea of flashbulbs.
A fixture on the style pages of fashion magazines, Palermo is thinking about launching her own fashion line. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but I think it’s going to take some time. I have a lot on my hands at the moment,” said the reality star-turned-fashion blogger, who got engaged to her long-term boyfriend, German model Johannes Huebl, on New Year’s Eve.
“I consult and travel and I’m a model full-time. I think in time, when I have a bit of a break, I’ll be able to,” she added.
In the meantime, Palermo is promoting emerging designers through her Web site oliviapalermo.com’s recently launched e-commerce partnership with The Fancy.
“It’s going well. We’re growing, evolving. We’re working on our e-com right now and trying to make that stronger,” she said.
