CHANGE OF HAT: Stefano Pilati is about to take on the role of stylist.
The designer, who as reported stepped down from his position of creative director at Zegna earlier this month and of Agnona last July, will not be presenting a collection at Milan Fashion Week but will instead be responsible for the styling of Sansovino 6 women’s collection.
The lineup designed by the brand’s founder Edward Buchanan, who launched Bottega Veneta’s ready-to-wear collections in 1995, is to be unveiled during a presentation on Thursday. The display will be in a traditional ballroom, Balera di Porta Venezia, and feature a live performance including vocalists and musicians.
Other personalities from the fashion and art industries are also collaborating on the project. Choreographer and creative consultant Stephen Galloway, for instance, will direct the live performance that includes the participation of Michael John Harper, Debra Shaw and Chrystèle Saint Louis Augustin.
