MOUNTAIN HIGH: An Alpine chalet – complete with rough-hewn logs for walls, wall-mounted heads of moose and deer, fur pelts and plaid blankets galore — was the backdrop for a presentation and party at Superdry’s Regent Street store, to showcase the brand’s fall-winter 2015 skiwear collection. Male and female models lounged on a leather sofa wearing puffa jackets, patterned knitwear and leggings. Men wore layered combinations of chunky knitwear, padded jackets and parkas, jeans, and sweatpants.
Among the guests were Oliver Cheshire, Jack Guinness and captain of the England rugby team Chris Robshaw. Robshaw said he’s looking forward to stepping out at this weekend’s round of shows and parties, but it’s business first for the sportsman.
“I have a match at Twickenham (in southwest London) on Saturday, and I’ve been invited to a party that night,” he said. “I really want to go, but it depends on whether we win or lose. If we win, I’ll be there; if not, then I’ll be staying home.”
