Singer Tinashe celebrated the launch of her Eye Shadow x Nine palette, part of her MAC Cosmetics Future Forward collaboration, by playing a show on St. Patrick’s Day during SxSW in Austin, Tex. She embraced the holiday’s theme to the core, as she sucked on a bright green lollipop hours before taking the stage at the chandelier-adorned Palazzo Lavaca on Thursday night. While she had her choice of nine hues ranging from neutral to nighttime, the almond-eyed songstress rocked — what else? — a light green shimmer dubbed “All Hands on Deck” after a performing a song from her debut album, “Aquarius” wearing an oversize NSF sweatshirt and Adidas Tubular kicks.

“It was kind of a dream to be able to be creative in the collaboration,” said Tinashe, who did everything from selecting and naming colors inspired by her music to designing the “messy on purpose” packaging. “I chose to [design] an eye shadow instead of a lip color because I’m definitely more of an eye girl,” she explained of her contribution to the collection, which also features collaborations from other “awesome young female artists” including Dej Loaf, Lion Babe’s Jillian Hervey and Halsey.

Next up for the artist, who hit the road with fellow MAC pitchwoman Nicki Minaj last year: a world tour for her sophomore album, “Joyride.” Expect “super big” makeup looks and plenty of dancing. “Onstage, I always up my makeup game because day-to-day I can be pretty casual about my makeup. Sometimes I don’t even wear any,” she admitted.

Although she began acting and modeling as a toddler, the “Future Forward” label suits her just fine. “I’m excited to be a part of what you would consider the future I guess,” she said. “I’ve been in entertainment my whole life, but I still have a lot more to offer.”
