WENDY’S LOOKBOOK: Tacori is exploring a new avenue. The Los Angeles-based jewelry brand has tapped design consultant and fashion blogger Wendy Nguyen — creator and star of “Wendy’s Lookbook” blog and YouTube channel — as an ambassador. The collaboration is meant to open up new avenues of expression for the brand while also expanding its social media audience. “Wendy embodies the laid-back luxe appeal of California style,” said Michelle Adorjan Chila, senior vice president of marketing and public relations for Tacori. “We love the way she connects with her viewers and readers.” Nguyen will collaborate with the brand’s design team on a custom piece that fans will be able to purchase through the brand’s extensive retail partners, which will be available for purchase later this year. She will also create digital content featuring the brand’s various collections to be featured on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, featuring her top picks, jewelry styling tips and “behind the scenes” access to Tacori’s design studios.
