TADASHI GOES MOBILE: Tadashi Shoji is expanding its digital reach. After launching e-commerce in the spring of 2012, the Los Angeles-based brand is unveiling a revamped Web site today, with the addition of a new mobile site for increased customer engagement. “We feel that this will allow the customer to experience more of our product and find what they are looking for much easier,” said Carlos Gonzalez, general manager of the brand, who added that 5% of the company’s sales were derived from e-commerce in 2013. The refurbished site offers a smarter search function, enhanced customer service and a new blog. There are also a few new perks for shoppers — overnight shipping; a simplified ordering process (3 clicks to purchase); and the ability to curate wish lists, contact a personal stylist and share on social media.
