SLAM DUNK: Three months after the birth of his son Josh and just weeks after winning the NBA finals, Tony Parker was in perfect shape in Paris on Wednesday afternoon.

The basketball star was in town to celebrate his second season with French fashion chain La Halle, which included shooting hoops with local kids. “It’s a great opportunity,” said Parker of his three-year partnership with La Halle. “When I started my own brand [Wap Two], it was to have a source of income for my foundation. And then, when I decided not to re-sign with Nike, that gave me freedom to do more.”

Wap Two, which is stocked at La Halle boutiques along with other brands such as P by Pataugas and C by Chevignon, provides an exclusive line for La Halle, with all proceeds from the collection going to Parker’s charity. “But it’s also great to push a store like La Halle and see it grow; they are investing a lot and rebranding; it’s great to help them do that, I’m very happy.”

La Halle currently counts 1,500 doors, mostly in France, with big expansion plans set for 2015.

As for Parker’s impeccable shape: “I’m a hands-on dad, but not as much as mom, that’s for sure,” he smiled, adding he focuses on spending “quality time” with his son. “We start practicing on Oct. 1, so I got time to vacation and to enjoy it,” he said.
